Defending the Early Year’s (DEY) 2020 Summer Institute

Young children deserve the right to learn in ways that support their human development. The ECE community must stand together for this right. That’s why our friends @DEY_Project launched their 2020 Summer Institute. This year’s Institute will include a panel discussion with Nancy Carlsson-Paige, senior advisor and co-founder of Defending the Early Years; Michelle Strater Gunderson, veteran early childhood teacher in the Chicago Public Schools and chair of the Early Childhood Committee for the Chicago Teachers Union; Takiema Bunche Smith, Executive Director of the Bank Street Center on Culture, Race &  Ethnicity and Denisha Jones, director of ECE organizing, Defending the Early Years, and Institute lead facilitator.
