Takiema Bunche Smith, MS. Ed, President of Anahsa, has served children, families and educators in New York City for over two decades in a variety of roles. She has held positions as classroom teacher, teacher educator, content director for Sesame Street Children’s Educational Television Show, and a non-profit executive for early childhood programs.
Ella Williams, MS. Ed, Consultant, has been working with children from birth to eight years old and their families since 2001. Currently, she is a second grade teacher and educational consultant. Ella is considered an international leader who incorporates mindful practices in her work.
Shana Hewitt is an Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about providing quality, comprehensive services to young children. Shana understands the unique needs of urban childcare programs and tailors the work that she does to fit each need.
Paula Lee Poy
Paula Lee Poy has a BA in Geography and Statistics from Mount Holyoke College and currently is pursuing her MPA at Baruch College. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her family.
Huguette has served as a preschool teacher, educational director, program director and coach for over 10 years. With her focused determination and emphasis on high quality relationships, curriculum and programming, she has recently led an early childhood program in an under-resourced community to NAEYC accreditation.
